Different number of records in output when using same filter in Filter and Filter in DB to

I have using same filter in normal Filter tool and Filter in Db but the number of records in the output is different. Can someone please help?

Hi @vishal9031 

One of the possible scenario, this might be due to where the output has been extracted from UAT and the filter tool is used.

When the Filter In-DB tool is used, you might have connected to the PROD database where the inputs will be different from manual input file added.

Also the PROD database will be dynamic where the data's are added continuously. Hence there will be lot of additions to the previous existing data.

Hi @vishal9031 , There can be 2 reasons:

1. Please check the source data set at a particular time, ie the one in DB and extracted file that you are using.

2. DB can be case-sensitive and it can be the case that filter is responding differently on a sheet data and DB data because of character case. So check for capital case, uppercase or lowercase .
