Hi,
I'm wondering if it is possible to output data to Excel, in mm/dd/yyyy format, but have Excel recognize that it is a date, rather than general or a string:
Right now they are being exported as "General", but hoping to have it export as a Date. See pictures attached.
Thanks!
@keng Yes this can be done. You need to use preserve formatting on your output tool along with overwrite sheet or range (you must specify the range) and make sure the file is already set to date data type for that range. If you need to create a new file rather than overwriting one you will need to use the blob tools to create a template to overwrite.
Hi! Do you have an example of how to format?
