Convert string to number with 4 decimals places.

I have a problem converting the string to a number.

 

I have this sample dataset.

I just want to convert col2-col3 and col5-col6, but when I insert Select Tool and change the datatype to FixedDecimal 19.4, Yes It converts the number but the text like SGD, USD and other text in that columns becomes null.

@RichardAlt Alteryx don't support multiple data types in one column.

Sorry to hear about your issue.
if you set a field to a numeric, all string data from that field will be lost. mI would recommend making the text in this data within the column headers:
