I am missing several Alteryx Desktop Standard workflow tools: Unique, Sample, Cross Tab and several others. They are not in the palette and they do not appear when searching for them with the search bar. Also, when I open a workflow that does contain these tools and was saved previously, when this was not an issue, The missing tool icons appear as black squares with white question marks. This may simply require a reinstall.

1- What version number is your installed Alteryx ? Admin or NonAdmin?
2- Maybe you miss some program files in your installing process.
3- Which tools are you missing ?
You can try to reinstall it .
1) Check whether Windows defender is causing the problem. Include Alteryx in Excluded Apps/Folders. This has solved many of my problems.
2) Try reinstalling Alteryx.
