403: Forbidden error when trying to connect to Tableau Server from Alteryx

Question

I have seen a similar thread but there was not answer to it.

We recently upgraded our Tableau application server to 2020.3 version. After the upgrade, when i am trying to connect from ALteryx Desktop to publish to a Tableau Server, I am getting the error: Status 403: Forbidden

We are using Alteryx Designer 2019.4 and the Publish to Tableau Server tool 2.0

We are able to connect successfully to another Tableau server which is on 2018.3 version

Please let me know what could be the issue here. Thanks

Hi @nborua , this might be compatibility version issue, better suggestion would be is to email at support@alteryx.com for better resolution.
