We’d like to invite you to preview the upcoming release. From now until March 17th, you have a chance to review the new features and provide feedback. To participate, follow the 5 steps below:
1. Sign up to participate in the pilot program via this link
2. Download Admin or Non-Admin Designer (To find out which version, visit here)
3. Install and use your provided Designer Beta license key by March 17th
4. Test new features in your workflows and data connections
5. You’re able to review the full update list and provide feedback
Some exciting new features include:
· Control Containers: Manage the sequence of tool execution, or choose to conditionally execute a block of logic with this new tool in the Developer category.
· New Formula Functions: Designer now has multiple new formula functions included in the function library: Between, AverageNonNull, To Radians & ToDegrees.
· UI Enhancements: Various updates have been made to the UI throughout Designer (specifically the Results Grid and Workflow Settings tab) to provide better consistency and an updated, modern user experience.
· Server APIs (AD Groups to Custom Groups) will allow users to automate granting access to assets (AD groups) through collections and AD groups.
· Improved temp files cleanup with AMP to ensure proper cleanup of temp files in the event of a crash while using Engine.
· Data Connectors updates that include Denodo data source support and Azure AD authentication for SAP Hana.
