This was a great podcast. @Joe_Mako you have the voice and need your own podcast. I'd subscribe to a weekly 'Deep Thoughts with Joe Mako'
Alteryx Alumni (Retired)

^ I second @dataMack on that suggestion! @Joe_Mako could be reviewing different brands of potato chips and I'd still subscribe.

@Joe_Mako I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. I felt inspired after listening.

@TuvyL Thank you so much for talking about how uncomfortable you were/are with learning Alteryx.

I felt very similar for probably about a year while surrounded by several people who had more time and practice on me. Felt demoralizing and hard to open up the program. Your comment about feeling like you had to start over every time really hit home. Don't consider myself anywhere near an expert now but more confident and less daunted to try new tools.

I hope you find your motivation and thrill of satisfaction in whatever you're working on!

@Adara thank you so much for the sweet and thoughtful message! I'm not giving up yet--though I have to admit I haven't practiced much (*ahem* at all) since recording that episode. I'm not sure what's more intimidating: learning alteryx on my own, or learning from the best of the best from our community! So glad you hear you enjoyed the podcast--and even more glad to hear that you're feeling comfortable with the platform! I'm sure you'll be an expert in no time 🙂

@AlexKo I would personally LOVE to be part of an episode where we review chips......that's pretty much my dream job.chips.jpg

10:01: Tuvy saying "If you have a mentor or if you have someone you really look up to and they tell you 'oh yeah you can absolutely do that, you'll get it, don't worry' Having someone else believe in you is sometimes is strangely more powerful than you believing in yourself. Which is a little backwards..."

This stopped me mid email and made me start the podcast all over. So strong and powerful! Grateful to all three of you @TuvyL @AlexKo @Joe_Mako
