I found this infuriating as it's impossible to do without external data, or hardcoding (a huge no-no) to determine where a street ends and a city begins

I used a lookup sheet of street types and acronyms

I like the list of potential street name endings - I just did a formula to account for St and Ave variations, but would expand as needed or do a replace those values with blank and then use my same formula?
