Good Day Alteryx Tax, Audit + Office of Finance UG Members!
We really appreciate and thank everyone who attended our Q2 Tax, Audit + Office of Finance User Group meeting on June 13 at INSPIRE ’19 USA!
This was our first In-Person Global User Group Meeting! There were about 60+ attendees that joined us for breakfast at 6:30 AM and got some user group swag. It was impressive to see so many people there, even after the prior evening events.
Additional thanks to our talented speaker Jason Phillips, JP Morgan Chase and our UG Leaders Alejandra Lyon and Foster King who were moderating during the session.
RECAP
We started with the introduction of User Group Leaders, Alejandra Lyon and Foster King who moderated the session and gave a summary on why they decided to become UG Leaders.
They want to help the community as much as they have been supported from the beginning as users.
Alejandra and Foster also took the opportunity of give thanks to the Alteryx User Group Community Leaders that support everybody, and that work really hard to provide the best for users and UG Leaders. Special thanks to: Chris Shernaman, Cat Martinez and Lauren Uyeno.
This was followed by the use case presentation from Jason Phillips, JP Morgan Chase.
Jason gave us some insights on the process followed by JP Morgan Chase to make decisions efficiently, prototyping quickly, and testing to fail fast and succeed quickly.
He entertained us with the comparison of his Alteryx journey and his new home project – chickens. He also talked about how Alteryx is giving him time back to spend with his family and how it helps him and the company to be empowered and make informed decisions.
Following the use case, user group members were able to network and a few Alteryx announcements were made and some next steps:
