Thanks very much to all who attended the user group meeting today. We had about 25+ people attend. JC presented the Alteryx road-map and recent new functionality to Alteryx. Very informative. The Connect demo was received well.
Thanks goes out to Sandeep from Grazitti for providing lunch and sharing how Grazitti can help accelerate and augment Alteryx solutions with our own staff. Marketo has had great success with Grazitti.
I presented very simple macros (standard, batch and iterative). See attached. I also reviewed how to use Postman (free) to develop API code for the download tool. This is a great way to develop your own APIs.
There was also discussion afterwards about how Marketo has created an advanced scheduler based on the Alteryx Scheduler. It includes memory monitoring of the server, sequencing of workflows and a simple set of Tableau dashboards that highlight issues quickly.
Feedback was that we would like to see workflow examples that we can learn from. There is a lot to pick from here. Some are also interested in more in-depth server discussions and predictive analytics. We are also considering having the next user group meeting in the East Bay. Most likely in the early December time frame.
