Hi everyone!
I'm currently learning about Alteryx in my class and it's been interesting as I haven't been introduced to many software outside of Excel. I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for students like me who are slightly struggling on learning how to use Alteryx more efficiently and effectively? I would greatly appreciate any advice! Thank you.
hey @ycart98 the rule of thumb I always work by is to remove any unnecessary columns as early as possible in the Workflow using a Select tool that way you are only working with the columns you actually need. You can also change your data types if needed at this point aswell to prevent any errors later on.
Another good practice to have is to use filter tools as early as possible in the workflow so that again you are only working the rows of you require to reach your end goal.
