Job DescriptionThis position will work on data technology driving analytics initiatives, as well as the exploration of business intelligence datasets. You'll design critical analytical reports and queries to drive strategic business decisions, and support data operations performed by the organization

• Developing visual, interactive reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools for effective prediction and understanding of data analysis trends and creating automated data analysis workflows using Alteryx designer.
• Contribute to building data models for analytics purposes.
• Support engineering and business teams tasked with manipulation datasets as a subject matter expert.
• Use predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive data analytics to test, question and solve business problems.
• Regularly meet with other data analysts to help with Alteryx issues, and recommend best practices from both a technical and process perspective as related to Tableau development.
• Participate in Agile events (daily stand ups, sprint planning, grooming, and sprint retrospectives).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Data Science or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on work experience on Alteryx which includes Alteryx Workflow Development including macro and app development experience.
• Solid exposure to ETL toolsets used to extract data into a queryable format ready to analyze such as Alteryx
• Experience with Data Visualization and Business Analytics tools (such as Tableau/ Power BI)
• Strong quantitative background in data analysis and modeling
• Ability to work in an Agile team environment and handle changing priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, and work independently.
• Ability to communicate with and present to engineers, senior management, and relevant stakeholders.
• Strong database skills.
