The Problem: The use case for Wasserman was to automate their valuation process for their clients across multiple marketing channels by creating an Alteryx Analytics Application. Wasserman collects KPIs from multiple channels such as TV (national and locally televised), Social, Digital, and others to provide cohesive marketing ROI for their clients. This process is currently being done by their marketing analysts via Excel, and all of the requests to collect the KPIs are made by hand.
Describe your working solution
The Solution: In order to achieve automation, Alteryx Analytics Application was used. There are many one-time case scenarios, with many customization's necessary to bring results for Wasserman’s wide variety of clients. Alteryx Analytics Application allows non-technical users at Wasserman to apply these one-time case scenarios to the analysis, output to an AWS Aurora database, utilize AWS Lambda to automate API calls, and take inputs from these API calls to do needed analysis. It was important to show non-technical users an intuitive user interface to win them over.
The Result: Alteryx Analytics Application was able to achieve what they were looking for, without modifying the workflows, which resulted in Wasserman being more than pleased with the deliverable, giving business users the ability to modify their scenarios and perform their own analysis eliminating bottlenecks and allowing them to be as efficient as possible.
