headers are not showing

I am importing an excel file and my data starts from 28 line, the column headers are in that line. the actual quantitative data starts on line 29.

I tired all sorts of combinations with 'data start line'. I get an empty cell, with a small red mark that says 'this cell has embedded new lines'.

also I see the headers when I use the browse tool. i just don't see them in the result section at the bottom or when I'm using any other tool.

how do I solve this ?

See settings below. Import should start on line 28. Leave the "First Row Contains Data" unchecked.

I would use recordID tool and formula tool to cut the first 27 lines of data.

Then, dynamic rename tool can take the first row as header.
