Hello, does anyone have any knowledge on how to decompress and decode the SAP Large text field 'CLUSTD' from the STXL table using the Alteryx python tool? I'm assuming you should use the convert blob tool. It comes out of snowflake in Blob format.
There's a lot here. You have an SAP field. What SAP is it in S4 Hana/ECC? Then you say it's a Snowflake blob. Ok - so are you getting the Snowflake blob or the S4 Hana? if it's a Snowflake blob - how is your company getting it into Snowflake -> how are you encoding it? These are probably your companies architectural decisions so I'd suggest saking how it's encoded first -> and then asking for help with specific decoding strategies. I do not believe that Snowflake supports Blobs so I'm further confused by what you are saying.
Hello, the SAP data is stored in the Snowflake database and is exported using INDB tool with Alteryx. Yes snowflake does support blobs, Unfortunately haven't been able to find algorithm to decode and decompress the field.. The field is part of the SAP architecture.
