I am 3 days into Alteryx. In the image in the Alteryx question.png attachment, I need data in Row 2 to calculate Column G variable. Using the Running Total tool, the calculation is picking up one too many numbers from Column F variable. Question 1: How do I get the Running Total tool to just add the last 4 data points? Question 2: How do I format the decimal places in the data in Columns C, D and E?

Hi @jgalvan
I'm a newbie too but I think I can answer your question.
You only want your running total to include the previous 4 quarters, correct? If so, you can use a Multi-Row Formula tool with a formula like:
[Permits]+[Row-1:Permits]+[Row-2:Permits]+[Row-3:Permits]
Regarding formatting the decimal places, you can use the Select tool to change the data type to a Fixed Decimal.
See attached.
