Hi folks
I'm reconciling a SAP feed into BW Business Explorer reports. The SAP Report is totals only but the Bex report needs to be manipulated to shows period totals only. I'm currently using 'Add Totals' from the CReW Macros which works fine but means I have to add new periods (or click 'All' to add new ones) as we go through the year - is there a dynamic way of updating the totals row as more columns appear?

Hi @rogersm01 if you use a crosstab tool in the configation of the tool for Method of Aggregating you can select to sum and also generate Total Rows and Total Columns which is a way of dynamicly creating total rows and columns. Does require your data to be in a certain format for this approach.

Hi @JosephSerpis - thanks for this. It got me thinking - i'd initially used a cross tab to total cost element and going across by period, thereby causing myself a headache further down the line. All I need is total by period so revisited the initial cross tab and changed it to drilldown by period and add the total column. Easy when you think about it.
