Processing byte field in formula tool

I am using the formula tool and trying to extract data for the 2nd quarter

The quarter field is defined as a byte field

I have tried referring to it as: Quarter = 2, Quarter = '2' and Quarter = "2" and neither appear to be working

What am I doing wrong

Quarter = 2 should work.  You'll need to show more of what's going on.
