LUA Script Not Returning Output

Hi Team,

Hope you all are doing well.

I am stuck in the use case where I need to call Exasol Lua script in Alteryx.

When I am manually running Lua script in Exasol DB it is returning data set in form of Table but If I am calling the same script in Alteryx in 'Post SQL statement' in the input tool, it is not returning data set alteryx which I further need to processed.

Please help here if this even feasible or not in Alteryx. Do we have other options to achieve the same.

Hi @AyubKhan 

As mentioned here, Pre/Post SQL statements do not return data to the workflow.  Since EXASOL is a known data source, you should be able to return the data you need using a sql statement in the "Table or Query" field.

Hi Dan,

when I am giving script(Execute script scriptname) in "Table or Query". It is giving me error.
