Is there a quick way to sum data by Cardholder and Month?

Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to using Alteryx and I have been having some issues trying to figure out how to properly use the functions to summarize data for Q1 2020, by Cardholder and Month to get a sum amount. I tried using the summarize tool to group by Cardholder, then Month, but the amounts didn't seem to sum up properly. Could anyone help me out?

The original question is "MU has a policy that a cardholder shall not spend more than $20,500per month". 

I've attached the data if anyone would like more context.

Something like the below should work. I didn't see an issue with how the amounts are summing, could you be more specific?
