Hi Team,
I have come across a weird bug in which after I connect to my excel sheet using the input tool, I can see the data preview. However, when I connect any other tool after that (SELECT or TRANSPOSE), I don't see any column names. My workflow is an Alteryx app.
Can someone please help?
Hi @pratikvazirani,
Try hitting F5 on your keyboard to refresh the configuration! My gut feeling is that you may have "Disable Auto Configure" enabled in User Settings > Advanced, which would prevent the tool from loading in the configuration.
Let us know if that resolved it!

I see these kinds of bugs sometimes... You can also try saving your workflow, exiting and going back in.
I tried this multiple times and finally had to make the changes by copy-pasting it on a fresh canvas. Once done, I copied it back to my original app and made the connections.
I opened it after a few hours and now the app workflow shows no errors.
Thank you! However, my 'disable auto config' button was not checked. I will try hitting F5 next time. But as mentioned below, after pasting the portion that had to be edited on a new canvas, I was able to make changes and put it back in the original app. I opened the workflow app after a few hours and it showed no errors.
Ah ok - I would uncheck that option unless you are working with very large datasets 😊
Apologies, it was already unchecked. Just edited my previous comment. I think it is an Alteryx bug.
