Good afternoon. New to Alteryx and I am trying to update a property address field for a data set of mine. There are many addresses where the street is abbreviated to Rd, St, Ct, Ln, etc. and many addresses where they are also spelled out completely. I am trying to create a workflow that will spell the full name of the abbreviation and also abbreviate where it finds the full name. Is that even possible? Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi! I think in your raw data you had a mix of full street name with abbreviated street names which may be causing a problem. Attached is my workflow that I think may be helpful for you. Let me know if this works for you.
