Alteryx BUILD, the first hackathon-style event at our annual Inspire user conference, is in the books. It was a goodie - so I wanted to share details of all the good times to encourage you to attend Alteryx BUILD 2 in Nashville!
Participants were welcomed at the door by a table full of event t-shirts (you may notice them in subsequent pictures), as well as this slide up on the projector that included event rules/directions, plus a countdown timer in the top right corner...

To start things off for those building SDK-based tools, @WilliamM demonstrated how to use the AYX Tool Scaffolder he built for the event...

At the end of the day, the room cleared out and we selected the three most impressive projects to present the next day for a chance to win the grand prize. Teams could work on whatever they wanted, but we did provide an Alteryx for Good project to analyze Google Analytics data to help Water for People gain insight into how they might redesign their website to drive more donations. The first team selected as a finalist dubbed themselves Browse.Until.Done and took on this specific challenge. Here they are on the previous day coordinating their plan of attack...
The second finalist team used a combination of an Alteryx analytic app and a custom web front end to build an Alteryx Gallery & Server admin tool, and then open sourced it! Here's Team Acumen hard at work...
Finally, Royden Onishi and Ryan Andrew were selected for the work they did to build an Image Vectorizer tool with the Python SDK. Here they are presenting to a packed house...
