I would highly recommend checking out the office of finance starter kit as part of this there is the assets and liabilities reconciliation. This shows a great example of labeling tools and processes part of a workflow that would form part of the steps that would normally live in a workpaper.
Further to this, check out this article around documentation (https://www.thedataschool.com.au/antoneely-calizaya/alteryx-documentation-best-practices/) - as like any good workpaper, a well documented process helps anyone in future pick up past workpapers to understand what has been done prior.
There is plenty more to share but this is my 2 cents...
