Emmanuel Katto from Dubai - Can I "Reject" Being Marked as a Solution on a Community Post?

Hi everyone,

I;m Emmanuel Katto from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Here’s the situation: I posted a solution to a user’s problem on this thread: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Publishing-Gallery/Prevent-File-Output-to-Private-Gallery/m-p/65901. At the time, I was convinced it was the right approach, and it was accepted as the solution. However, it turns out that the solution I provided was completely incorrect.

While I’ve since edited my post to clarify the mistake, I want to know if there’s a way to "reject" or remove the accepted solution status myself—without needing the original poster to do anything. I realize I made a mistake, but I’d like to be able to uncheck the “Solved!” box and remove the link indicating my failed solution.

Is this possible? If not, I’ll gladly submit a suggestion for this functionality in the future.

Regards

Emmanuel Katto
