Hello,
I have a data input of Accounts and Contacts linked by AccountID.
What I want to do is take the first 10 Contacts for each Account and then create fields (contact1_Name, contact2_Name, etc) for each contact record so that I get one record per Account with the contacts listed.
Looking for suggestions or a good example of how to get this started.

Could you give us a sample of data (with the column structure) and your desired output?
You can use dummy data if you want, it's just it's a lot easier to visualize and understand what you're looking for.

As @Thableaus mentioned, we could potentially provide much more detailed assistance with some sample data, however I took a stab at creating some dummy data to see if this is the idea you're going for. The key here (after prepping the data a bit) was to use a Cross Tab tool. Hope this helps!
