Uploading Files without Duplication from a Shared Folder

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Excel files will be uploaded to a shared folder before being imported into Smartsheet. Is there a way to program this workflow or another workflow to upload the file only once, such that if it is set to run everyday and the file has not been removed, it will not be duplicated?

As long as you specify the same file name for the outputfile Alteryx will always try to overwrite the old file and therefor won't create a new file.
