Taking amount without decimal from text input and adding decimals

Hello-

I'm seeing lots of prior posts for removing decimals, but I'm trying to add them.

My data's coming in from a text file so for example, I'm seeing 466 and I need it to be 4.66. In excel I'd accomplish this by dividing by 100, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with the formula because its erroring out.

I already have a formula tool with ToNumber that seems to have worked to drop some leading zeros.

Help!

Your field for [Amount] is a text field, because the Data type at the bottom of your Formula tool is V_String.  You can't use arithmetic formulas on text fields.

Before your Formula tool, you can use a Select tool to change the data type to something like Fixed Decimal 19.2
