Hi,
I am getting an error like "The Node "MatchField" is missing the child node "Style" in my Alteryx workflow when I am trying to run the same using the Fuzzy Match tool. PFA the screenshot below FYR!
Please help me resolve this as I am stuck very badly here!!
Hi @SvandanS25 ,
Can you please provide your workflow and data (mock data is fine) so we can help?

Hi @martinding,
I selected some other match style and the error is resolved
but I am not sure how it will exactly work towards my purpose
I want to match Healthcare Pharma/drug brandnames with the raw data from my benchmarks file
The error got resolved but it has given such junk outputs
could you please help me here?
It is kinda urgent from my end
TIA!
Hi @SvandanS25,
The Custom Style gives you a lot of flexibility in fine-tuning your matching.
With Fuzzy Matching, there's no "best style" and a lot of the time, it is done through trial and error of different settings.
My suggestion is to try multiple different settings, and compare which one works best for your use case.
It looks like you are trying to match ids? Are they just numbers? Because Fuzzy Matching works best for matching similar strings.
If you are trying to match exact numbers, you might want to try a different approach.
Would you please provide a sample workflow, and your expected result? So we can help you.
Selecting custom solution gave me the error in the first place
And it says this:
