I am unable to append records correctly with using beginning of field on my data.
Dataset - norman alex
Dateset 2 - norman alex (NA)
Can someone help me configure the find and replace tool to append the records correctly?
SHould be like for like.
Also I want the workflow to be able to also account for records just like this
Dataset 1 - norman alex
dataset 2- norman alex.

@binuacs thanks, do you have anything that may get rid of any bracket initials IF it exists? Ie if the persons name is Louis Stevens it may display as Louis Stevens (LS)
@binuacs this works but if the word doesnt have brackets it makes it blank! :(
ie if its just Louis Stevens, it becomes blank!
@binuacs question, what if there is two brackets in a name?
ie Louis (Lamar) Stevens (LS) and make that into Louis Stevens... IFF the bracketed items exist?
