Directory Tool with SharePoint Server 2016

I am trying to connect to a document folder in SharePoint (I have a bunch of files and it is easier than doing each individually) and having issues.  Is this possible?

I never had much luck doing it directly.  I'm sure there are more advanced users out there that can, but I found it was easier to sync a folder to the SharePoint site so I could refer to that directory like a mapped drive.    If you search around a bit you'll see documentation on it.  It made the process MUCH simpler.
