Alteryx Designer connect to Tableau Linux server backend

Hi there

We are currently examininhg moving to Tableau server on Linux rather than windows serverr.

Am able to connect to the Tableau server backend in the current Windows Tableau server environment. via Alteryx designer odbc connect to the Tableau postgres database.

We are testing in a Tableau server Linux environment as well.

Can anyone offer some guidance and steering on how to connect Alteryx Designer to the Tableau server backend where Tableau server is in the Linux environment?

Your help would be most appreciated.

I've spoken to a colleague and their belief is that t here is little/no difference. Postgres is still used even in a linux environment and therefor providing you have the credentials you should be good to go.

The only thing they mentioned was that the port may be different, but they are planning on testing this tomorrow.
