Alter.Everything Podcast
In early March we introduced Alter Everything - a podcast about data and analytics culture! — Each episode features Alteryx customers and associates discussing a wide range of topics related to the industry and what excites them about analytics. Our first episode, 1: There’s a lot of coastline in Alaska, brings together Heather Harris (@HeatherMHarris) and Tara McCoy (@TaraM) to discuss data culture and the Women of Analytics movement.
In the second episode, 2: All data is guilty until proven innocent, Ken Black (@Ken_Black) and Garth Miles (@GarthM) join us to discuss “big data”, the process of creating great content, and the Data Scientist role. Give it a listen, subscribe and rate it in your podcast app of choice.

On International women’s day, we introduced the Women of Analytics group – a dedicated space to network, learn, motivate, unite to think and act to drive change. Read the announcement.
2018 Alteryx Analytics Excellence Awards
With the re-launch of the Excellence Awards this year there will be no pre-defined categories that use cases must fit into. We want to encourage as many people to so submit their use cases and workflows as possible. Excellence winners will split $25,000 equally to donate to a charitable organization. Submissions will be accepted until April 26th, 2018. Read the Announcement.

In recognition of Women's History Month (March), the Weekly Challenge has highlighted the contributions, achievements and representation of women. Community members Do Good in India!
On March 17th, Yughandar Muley (@ydmuley), along with ACEs Mark Frisch (@MarqueeCrew) and Sean Adams (@SeanAdams) helped launch Alteryx For Good in India. Charity organizations and University representatives in India were invited to a day long event at the Silicrest Hotel, Bangalore. Mark and Sean spoke about the importance of education in Business Intelligence and how the Alteryx platform can help provide analytical insights through Alteryx For Good. Read the announcement.
Attendees walked away from the event excited about the launch and are looking forward to continue to solve data related challenges in order to create an impact for their organizations.
