Take a moment to introduce yourself to the Community. We'd love to get to know you!
Learn MoreHi, I am a student from CSUF and feel excited to join the Alteryx community. I am preparing for the Alteryx Designer Exam and want to know how to participate well in the exam.
Thanks,
Hi @dong15728
Check out the prep guide here. Being comfortable with the topics listed is key. I'd suggest doing some weekly challenges for additional practice. I'd also suggest taking the Alteryx Foundation Micro-Credential Exam as a warmup. There is now also the option to pass 4 core micro-certs in place of passing the full core exam in one shot.
Awesome, @dong15728 ! We suggest checking out our Student board to interact with other students who have also passed the Core Certification exam. You can also download the prep guide which will help you get a hang of everything you need to know. Let us know how you do!

hey @dong15728
I'd recommend checking out the revision guides found under https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Certification/bd-p/product-certification.
For learning the platform, be sure to look around the Community - it's a fantastic place for learning. A couple of resources I would especially recommend knowing about are:
I hope you find Alteryx easy to learn and intuitive to use. Do remember that almost every tool has an example workflow and help documentation if you right-click the tool in the tool palette:
("Help" for the tool documentation, "Open Example" for the example workflow).
And be sure to search for/ask for help in the Community if you need help. Alternatively, feel free to drop me a message here on the Community!
Cheers,
