I'm trying to save a workflow to our server and keep a fixed filepath in my load/save blocks. I uncheck these file paths in the manage workflow assets tab before saving to the server, but it doesn't seem to matter. I always reload the workflow and find the file paths have been replaced with temporary file locations??
I've noticed some strange behavior in the manage assets dialog box too.
I'll uncheck the relevant file paths, but then when I choose to check "group assets by tool", the items I previously unchecked are back to being checked.
Has anyone else had this happen? It's really frustrating. The whole workflow works great, the only thing I can't do is publish it!

@StephenMack What version of designer are you running? I wonder if your issue is the same/related to DE23006 and DE23005. 23006 was fixed in 2019.4.8.22007 (https://help.alteryx.com/release-notes/designer/designer-20194-release-notes) and 23005 is a known issue for 2019.3 (https://help.alteryx.com/release-notes/designer/designer-20193-release-notes). 2019.2 doesn't have any issues like this.
Version 2019.3.2.15763
I'll have to see about updating, but that also means updating the server...
@StephenMack Yep I know that feeling all too well...
i am using 2019.3 . It always defaults the check mark on my input files while saving workflow and creates a huge problem for me with stale data
