Hi all,
I want to let users use a text box to enter some values that will be fed into a calgary input tool and I am having difficulty. When I use a list box tool, the list box lets me wrap values in <value> and <\value> but the text box does not have that feature. If I am filtering without using Calgary, I would have the text box enter the values into a text input tool, split it to rows and then join it to the data set so the unmatched values drop out. But this field has a ton of values and the workflow runs slow without calgary. Is there a way to either wrap text in the XML wrappers from the text box or maybe put the wrapper on the values in a different tool then feed them into calgary after? Thanks!
In the List Box tool, you have:
Maybe you can change those to become the XML wrappers so that it replaces that specific part only?
Sorry, I am not too familiar with Calgary tools - I only know the city of Calgary haha! What is this use case about? Very interesting. If you can share more information or even pictures / a copy of your workflow, we may be able to better assist you.
