Remove Substring

Hi SME,

I have a file that contains references to the state CA expressed in various forms as shown in column A in the attachment.  I would like to use Fuzzy Match to see if I can remove anything that references the state.  I had tried this with RegEx without full success.  Fuzzy Match might be able to take care of this situation as future data could contain other variation of the state references.  

Could you please provide me with the guideline on how to do this?  I had used the Fuzzy Match tool before but this is a bit difference from what I could gather.  FYI, column B is what I'm trying to get from column A.

You can try brute force.  See attached workflow that uses the RegEx tool.

Fuzzy Match will never be perfect.  For a task like this, you may not be happy with Fuzzy Match.
