How to use 1 excel workbook to update a separate workbook that has different columns

Question

I am new to alteryx and am attempting to do something that is outside of my new knowledge.

Scenario: I get a daily copy of an excel workbook (1 sheet).  I need to pull anything new from it and use that to populate a separate sheet in a different workbook.

I am starting with 2 inputs (different workbooks) and then yes, comparing and bringing in the new rows of data.

Do you need to compare the data from the new sheet against the data from the existing different workbook and only bring in the new rows of data? Or are you looking to append the new daily sheet to the existing different workbook no matter what?
