Hello:
Is there any way to filter/ formula only City?
For instance in the below data I want to see only City.
Hong Kong |
LLC |
London |
New York |
Singapore |
Ltd. |
Inc. |
Sydney |
Toronto |
Tokyo |
Mumbai |
Seoul |
Bangkok |
L.P. |
Limited |
Luxembourg |
Milan |
Thanks

If I'm understanding your questions correctly, Alteryx cannot differentiate between a city name and the suffix of a company (LLC, Ltd. Inc., L.P. etc.). The best you can do is create a list of either your cities, or your company suffixes and then filter based on that list.
As an example, if I know all my company suffixes, I would the Custom filter configuration for the Filter tool with the following query:
[Field1] NOT IN ('LLC', 'Ltd.', 'Inc.', 'L.P.')
Alternatively, you could either load the suffix list as either it's own input (such as an Excel file), or typed directly into a Text Input tool and use a Join to apply the filter.
Appreciate your help in my learning process. Thanks
Can you post the original data? I assume this relates to this post: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/How-to-separate/m-p/928983#M227381
If so, there might be a way to do this more cleanly.

Hi @Kinetic_analytics - is there any consistency of using a comma or semi colon to separate the bank and city?
