Format not stable column wise using reporting tool

Hi All,

The format of my report is not stable. If you check the file you will find the column width is huge. Can we do something that the column width should be based on the char inside the column ..

Anyone can help ..

Also, this report is in table format can we do it in simple excel format using the reporting tool..?

Hi @ShreyaSharma 

There are a few things that control the rendered column width.

- The Render tool settings regarding paper size, orientation, and margins.

- Tables tool column width settings (available is "Auto", "Percent", or "Fixed" flavors)

- Field value length (not headers)

I put the above list in order of priority when you want to change column widths.

Do you mean can you just output to Excel without render? Yes, the Output tool can export unformatted data to Excel.
