Hello Everyone
During the execution of an Alteryx workflow, it was observed that there was an inconsistency in the data output. While the user did not receive any data, other team members were able to retrieve data from the same stream and Alteryx desktop version (2023.1.1.123). Upon further investigation, it was noted that the filter tool appeared to be the source of the issue. The workflow was successfully executed by all team members, with the exception of the user who encountered the problem. The cause of this incident and a suitable solution remain to be determined. It is essential to ensure that the Alteryx workflow is functioning effectively and efficiently, and that all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date data.
Thank you
I would be interested if you found a solution? We've had similar issues where everyone bar 1 person in the team is able to run a workflow successfully (all using the same desktop version) but never quite got to the bottom of it.
Would using a select tool before hand and setting the field types to the desired output fix the trick?
What kind of failure are you seeing? Is the workflow erroring out (if so what's the description)? Is no data coming out of the Tool?
Yes, there's no data coming out
I've often wondered if a reply like this would be considered comical or "I've wasted 45 seconds of my life reading this". I'm hoping the former.
Trying to develop a witty reply to cleverly say ... you've provided absolutely no details about the "issue"
Alas I've had no coffee yet.
The initial post strongly resembles nonsensical ChatGPT output.
As I've grown older and wiser, I simply read some posts, smile (maybe a small laugh), and move on.
Live is too short.
Some community messages should rightfully wait forever for a keystroke: "2 million views, zero responses" speaks volumes.
This reply was simply a "paste", not technically a "keystroke".
I keep this canned response saved for moments like this.
Yes, this reply is simply useless, I know.
But it seems appropriate here.
Perhaps a witty FAQ is in order: Tips on how to pose a question to elicit a valuable response. Subtitle: and avoid 3 people trying to figure out what the actual "issue" is.
Thank you for useless response to query!, even I'm not native speaker of English. All what I'm trying to get here is sharing what I faced to the community and get the solution, Not like what you did. Your responded clarified of lack of behavior of your past and you need to work on it more than on development, keep it up all users here form different nationality and divers background. I'm not wasting my time to tell you what wrong or right because that off-the-cuff to you and no more longer you can handle it. Don't sass me or others, and thank to everyone trying to advise me here.
Was the same input used for testing between users? Were you able to identify data coming into the Filter Tool? If so, what output are you getting from both 'T' & 'F' anchors? If screenshots can be provided that would be more helpful. How do you know that it's the Formula Tool to begin with? You may just need to file a support ticket with Alteryx.
Thank you for your responded, After carefully reviewing the filter, I identified the issue comes form data table that removed the check mark box for maxims the value to 200. after running I got all data comes from T anchor. Thanks a lot.
