I'm able to create a faux 'change log' in the SQL I write into the Input Tool's SQL Editor. I place it at the top and bracket it with /* and */. The data shows in green and is not executed when I run the workflow.
A colleague of mine who modifies the same workflows can see the comments in the Value column of Table or Query line of the Input Tool's configuration window, but not in the SQL Editor. See attached. In the example, the /*asdf */ should appear in the SQL Editor window, but does not.
Perhaps there's a config setting that controls this? Any help would be appreciated. His changes, probably due to whatever is suppressing the visibility of these comments, overwrite the logging I've placed within the SQL.
