Hi,
Up until yesterday, a successfully running workflow hosted on the Alteryx Server ( v 2018.2 ) issued these errors:
00:00:43.333 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #19: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
00:00:44.153 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #20: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
00:00:44.962 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #21: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
00:00:45.781 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #22: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
00:00:46.571 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #23: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
00:00:47.360 - Error - ToolId 27: Record #24: Tool #4: Error transferring data: Failed initialization
Tool 27 is an SFTP Upload macro, whose tool #4 is the Download tool - gray cloud with lightning bolt icon.
I was able to manually push these records to the server so the data got processed, just not uploaded automatically.
My question is what is the likely culprit? I manage these workflows and they have not been tampered with, and again, have been running successfully for months. Server Anomaly??
This workflow will run again this afternoon since it's on a schedule, so I'll monitor it closely.
I appreciate any insight.
Chris

Looks like others are having the issue here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/SFTP-Problem-amp-Logging/td-p/28072
One person in the thread found a workaround, but it looks like no one has identified the root problem yet.
