Desktop Workflow Task Functionality

I noticed there is a Desktop Workflow task and need some clarification. If I import a desktop workflow to the designer cloud, does the Desktop Workflow task accomplish that?

Hi friend, 

If you are fortunate enough to have cloud execution on Designer Desktop, you can use this Cloud Execution for Desktop article to set that task up. Desktop workflows can be imported to the cloud but depends on the tools used in that workflow. Designer Cloud has data prep needs handled of course!
