We’re making it easier than ever to extend your existing on-premise solutions to the cloud with the launch of Cloud Execution for Desktop. The new feature allows Designer users to create a connection to the Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform, save and open workflows between Designer and the cloud platform, and schedule workflows in the cloud.
It’s a secure and easy way to schedule and automate workflow runs and free up desktop resources with the added flexibility and choice for starting, automating, and executing workflows beyond the desktop.
Existing workflows that were sitting untouched can now be augmented with cloud-native applications. Similarly, cloud-first use cases can benefit from on-premise development without the need for complex workarounds.
Check out this overview video by our Product Evangelism Director Joshua Burkhow and read this community blog post for details on how to create a linked connection from Designer to an AACP workspace.
