This month, we have a double issue for you—Community highlights from both July and August. That’s a lot of content! Let’s get into it.

This month, the Event User Group and Community Calendars received a few updates to help streamline the user experience. Along with those upgrades, users now receive a confirmation email containing the event details when registering for events. Look out for additional improvements in the coming months!
We’ve also fixed a few minor bugs on the recently enhanced Weekly Challenge filter, most notably:
The ability to sort through challenges using the most recent, top viewed, and top liked filters
The ability to customize the total replies shown on a challenge using the Community Settings
We’re introducing a new section to the Community Highlights blogs—top discussions posted in the last month (in this case, the last two months).
We highlighted the above posts not only to give a shout-out to the solvers but also because their popularity indicates the discussion is engaging and they are solving other community members’ questions!
Catch up on Community happenings from July and August below.

A huge congrats to our Q2 cohort of ACEs! You can find them in the ACE Class of 2024 blog and on the ACE page. We’ve also revamped our ACE Spotlight blog series to include ACEs inducted into the program in 2023 and 2024. Check out the spotlights here, and subscribe to the Alter.Nation blog so you don’t miss any community news.
In August, we had two changes for the Credly badge program:
Cleaning up unclaimed badges (more information here)
Updates to badges for Core Micro-Credentials (more information here)
We also had news about weekly challenges—check out these articles to learn more:
We’ve had some fantastic technical deep dives from our Community members in the last two months.
On API Use Cases: @perin demonstrated how to connect to GitLab using their API. This article can help you manage GitLab Repositories in Alteryx! Additionally, @RobertZiegl showed us how the Alteryx License Portal API can be used for managing licenses at an enterprise. Learn more here.
On Advanced Techniques: @clmc9601 published two standout articles on workflow strategy—check out her tips for scaling and generalizing your workflows. @OllieClarke walked us through creating an XML file in Alteryx—an impressive feat!
On the podcast this month, we heard from six Community members and our hosts @NicoleJ and @JoshuaB on what they love about Alteryx! Tune in here for some great stories and insights (and maybe some warm-fuzzy feelings).
Being part of such a thriving online community is a pleasure. Thank you to all the tagged members above for your top-tier contributions this month, and thank you to the thousands of other Maveryx who show up ready to help every day!
