We have some news to share about our Core Micro-Credential Credly badges, and we wanted to give you the scoop directly. Starting September 3, 2024, we are updating our Credly badge award process. Credly badges will no longer be issued for our four Designer Core Micro-Credentials. But don't worry--you will still earn your Community badge for each micro-credential, and we have a fun shareable alternative lined up!
What’s New?
Here’s the Deal: While you won’t be receiving Credly badges for the Designer Core Micro-Credentials anymore, we have a few cool things still coming your way.
Your Community Badge Isn’t Going Anywhere: You will still earn and have your Alteryx Community badge proudly displayed on your profile for each micro-credential. These badges show off your dedication to learning how to master Alteryx products and your involvement in our awesome community, and we’re all about celebrating that!
A Shareable Graphic Just for You: When you pass a Core Micro-Credential exam, we will send you a link to a snazzy graphic in your results email. The graphic is perfect for sharing on LinkedIn or wherever you like to show off your accomplishments. Go ahead, flaunt those skills!
Certificate for Your Wall: As always, you will still be able to print out a certificate and frame it alongside all your great certifications and achievements! Each Core Micro-Credential certificate includes your name, the date issued, and a unique identifier associated with your Community account.
Why the Change?
Our aim is to encourage our Designer users to earn all four micro-credentials in order to receive the Designer Core Certification and the associated Designer Core Credly badge. The micro-credentials are a great way to work towards the full Designer Core Certification one piece at a time, so once you earn all four micro-credentials, your Designer Core Credly badge will arrive! It’s a great way to demonstrate your expertise and commitment to Alteryx Designer, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

If you haven’t already, consider taking the plunge and going for the full Designer Core Certification either by passing all four micro-credentials or taking the full Core Certification exam.
