Hi everyone!

My name is David and I lead The LaMore Group (TLG), a US-based consulting firm focused on consumer brands. I've been using Alteryx for about 2 years now and hope to add value to my clients by enabling companies to leverage Alteryx for a better understanding of their data.

TLG is getting setup as a value added reseller + analytic consultant associate partner, and we are looking to build our skill sets as Alteryx users. 

Does anyone have best practices for training to complete the Alteryx Product Certification program (Core, Advanced, Expert)? Also, could anyone share helpful data sets that work well with this training? Or, if the prep guide is all I need, that works too!

Welcome to the community.

When I was getting started I found the weekly challenges as a great way to practice and learn the tool.

For the certifications:

Core - the prep guide along with the weekly challenges above would be a good starting place - https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Exam-Prep/Core-Certification-Exam-Prep-Guide/ta-p/409403 Also the exam can be taken on demand, so I would encourage you to take it (even before you feel ready) as you'll get a feel for the pace of the exam, the topics and there's a chance you already know enough to pass!
