I included a move object macro that takes that input shape and shifts it in the X direction.

Wanted a streamlined solution instead of figuring out each shape individually

Saw this challenge as circles with pieces cut out, and figured I could ultimately create the pieces based on the phase of the moon, and then cut them from the original shape. I used spatial formulas for the most part, and needed trade area (buffer would have worked too) for the waxing/waning and gibbous moons. A little recall of geometry helped calculate the radii needed, and a bit of trial and error worked for the gibbous moon piece.

Convert all x coordinates to positive first for relative easy of calculation, then a lot trial and error on adjusting the formula to calculate new x coordinates.
