Hi Everyone,
I am so super duper new to this so please bear with me while I figure out the most basic of tasks. I am taking a course on Alteryx and feel out of my element.
I need to sum together 12 columns of sales data and cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. Any help at all would be super super appreciated. The sales data is monthly by city.
Thank you,
Newbie

The beauty of Alteryx - there are at least 2 or 3 ways to solve this! 🙂
Here's the simplest option: Add a Formula Tool, and create a new column (let's name it [Total]) and then include a formula something like this:
[Column1] + [Column2] + ... + [Column12]
... including all 12 columns in your formula, whatever they might be named.
Hope that helps get you un-stuck! Take a look at some of the Interactive Trainings over on the Academy to help get you started, if you haven't taken a look at them already! 🙂
Cheers,
NJ
Thank you thank you thank you! Sometimes the solution is so simple but as a newbie it seems super complex!!!!!
